- For almost three and a half
years, I was an Assistant City
Attorney for the City of Arlington. During that time, I prosecuted in
the Municipal Court, tried animal and code cases, and defended the City
against lawsuits involving auto accidents and city regulations. I also
advised Police, Fire, and other departments on employee and discipline
issues, handled administrative hearings, and several arbitrations.

- Previous to Arlington, I was an Assistant City Attorney in Corpus Christi. I was a prosecutor - and later Chief Prosecutor - in the Municipal Court. Besides class C misdemeanors, I was the lead prosecutor for animal hearings and code violations.

- Prior to law school, I
worked in local government, was Vice
President of the Garland Chamber of Commerce, and spent several years
in sales.
